Working with loops on bling rings and bracelets.
Add durability to your bead tips.
Mark a wire strand for easy component placement.
No padded tool to work your precious metal wire?

Working with headpins and loops on rings or bracelets.

Bling Ring with dichroic beads, headpins and adjustable sterling silver Bling Ring with 11 loops

If you are right handed start adding beads from the back loop and work left to right towards the front. If you are left handed you will want to work right to left. This will keep you from having to work over beads already in place, plus your beads will lie back keeping them out of your way.

Using a Bead tip

Instead of tying your stringing material in a knot and then gluing it for use with your bead tip, string it through a seed bead and then knot and glue. Not only does it strengthen your work with less wear and tear, you won't have to worry about the knot slipping out of the bead tip later on.

Mark your wire strand for perfect component placement.

Use correction fluid such as wite-out® on your wire strand for perfect component placement such as beads, charms, and findings, it is easy to see and if your bead is not large enough to cover the mark it is easy to scrape off with a finger-nail or soft cloth.

No padded tools to work with your precious metal wires?

Try using a soft cloth, but better yet - if you have ever hand quilted you will have used the "Collins Needle Grabbers." These round thin rubber pads are perfect for wire work as the wire won't slip or slide as it does with a soft cloth, nor will it mar the wire with scratches - especially handy when making wire coils.
